Steps commonly used for self-hypnosiS
Self-hypnosis usually requires four distinct steps.
- Motivation. Without proper motivation, you or anybody else for that matter will find it very difficult to practice self-hypnosis
- Relaxation: You must be thoroughly relaxed and you must also set aside time to perform this act. Additionally, all distractions should be eliminated as full attention is needed.
- Concentration: You will need to concentrate completely on the task at hand as progress is made each time the mind focuses on a single image.
- Directing: This is an option used only when you want to work on a specific goal that you have in mind. You must direct your concentration on visualizing the desired result that you’re aiming for.
